Blumat Tropf 5″ Dripper Sensor

The Blumat Tropf 5″ Dripper Sensor is the heart of a Tropf-Blumat automatic watering system. Instead of watering plants on a fixed timer, the ceramic sensor responds directly to changes in soil moisture.

Installed in the growing medium near the plant, the sensor continuously monitors moisture conditions. When the soil becomes drier, the sensor activates watering. Once sufficient moisture has returned, it automatically reduces and stops the flow.

This demand-based approach allows each sensor to respond to the needs of the plant it serves, helping maintain more consistent root-zone moisture without electricity or electronic moisture sensors.

The standard 5-inch size is well suited for many containers, planters, raised beds, and greenhouse applications.
